Readerful Independent books are motivating, progressively challenging (underpinned by Oxford Reading Levels), fun, enticing books from a host of popular children’s authors aimed at sparking and sustaining a love of reading as well as fluency. Whilst Readerful Rise books for older struggling readers facilitate further phonics practise with new and age-appropriate texts. Supported with teacher notes and flexible front-of-class support to show what the best reading looks like, books are packed with vital vocabulary, diverse characters, fascinating facts, playful poems and the spark that will make every child want to reach for the next book.

These 48 Readerful Independent books for Years 3 & 4, designed to captivate, offer various genre favourites and include character mini-series, non-fiction and graphic texts, alongside brilliant standalone stories. Readerful ensures that every child will develop confidence in their book choices and reading abilities, and make progress as readers. Key words selected from the Oxford Vocabulary Framework are embedded and reapeated in the books, to unlock knowledge and provide children with the classroom language they need to access the wider curriculum.
