The Module Green Word Cards feature decodable words from the Modules and reflect the greater emphasis on vocabulary. On one side of the card, dots and dashes are used to show the graphemes in the word. On the other side, there is an explanation of the word in the context of how it appears in the Module text for the teacher to read out to the group. Includes over 300 words.

Green Word Cards
The Green Word Cards include over 300 decodable words. They are designed to be used in Speed Sounds lessons to help children read words containing the sounds they are learning. One side of the card uses dots and dashes to highlight the sounds (graphemes) children are learning, the other side of the card shows the word on its own to help children gain fluency.
Picture Sounds Cards
Cards with pictures starting with the same letter as the Read Write Inc. Speed Sounds. Teachers use these cards for extra practice when teaching the Read Write Inc. Phonics Speed Sounds. They reinforce children’s recognition of the different phonemes (letter sounds) by showing the children pictures of several objects starting with the same letter sound. Includes 118 cards for use in Speed Sound Lessons.
Red Word Cards
The Red Word Cards help children read non-decodable words. They include over 75 common words with a low-frequency grapheme, for example ‘said’, ‘some’ and ‘your’.
Set 1 Speed Sound Cards
This Set 1 Speed Sounds pack contains one card for each sound in Speed Sounds Set 1. The double-sided cards show the letter on one side, and a picture with a mnemonic on the other. Set 1 cards have pictures that are in the same shape as the letters.
Sets 2 & 3 Speed Sound Cards
This Speed Sounds Sets 2 and 3 pack contains one card for each sound in Speed Sounds Set 2 and 3. The double-sided cards show the sound on one side, and a picture with a phrase on the other. The sounds covered include ay, ir, oo, ow, ure and tion.
