Pandora Books offer an exemplary range of phonically decodable reading schemes from the UK’s leading educational publishers. This year has seen further changes to the teaching of systematic synthetic phonics, with the department for education announcing that schools will need to have an SSP teaching programme in place during the Summer term of 2022 that demonstrates how children will be taught phonics in school. Our phonics range includes a number of DfE validated SSP programmes including Big Cat’s Little Wandle, Pearson’s Bug Club, Oxford’s Essential Letters and Sounds and Read Write Inc to Rocket Phonics.  We also offer catch up phonics for Key Stage 2 children who require age-appropriate decodable books to revise and consolidate phonic learning.
