Our Mixed Oxford Dark Red collection features a mix of 30 fiction and non-fiction books which have been specially selected across Oxford’s TreeTops range at book band level Dark Red (Oxford Levels 17-18). Each title has been cherry-picked from Chucklers, inFact (non-fiction), Myths and Legends, Greatest Stories, Reflects and Project X Alien Adventures, a particular favourite of boys. This exciting new collection contains something for all reading preferences, including, classic fiction, factual books, humour, adventure and realism. We have included some of Oxford’s new series, Reflect, which are powerful stories that encourage children to think about, and empathise with characters in the stories, whilst relating issues to their own feelings or experiences. All of the series in the Oxford TreeTops range offer inside cover notes for the reader including questions to think about Before Reading, response to the text in After Reading as well as a Book Quiz and Now Read On suggestions for what to read next.
