The Bug Club Phonics Phase 1–2 pack contains 46 books that support the teaching of phonics in the classroom. Following a similar progression to the phases of Letters and Sounds and validated by the Department of Education, these books help children to practise their decoding skills in a fun and engaging way. Many of the books feature the popular ‘Alphablocks’ from CBeebies and will be familiar to young children in Reception class. Inside cover notes encourage children to talk about the book, practise the focus phonics and identifies common words.
