Bug Club is Pearson’s outstanding whole-school reading programme for primary-aged children. It supports and encourages children to catch the reading bug for life! Bug Club Phonics books are aligned to Phases 1–5 of Letters and Sounds and the programme is validated by the DfE. Bug Club Independent books are ideal for schools using a book band system from Lilac to Dark Red. The Lilac to Green packs include Bug Club Phonics books and additionally a range of independent books that are fully decodable and support and embed the knowledge learnt in the phonics range.
